Frozen Synapse launched on May 26, 2011 and received two pieces of paid DLC: Frozen Synapse Red (May 29, 2012) and a Music Pack (March 17, 2016). Both are fully released, and no further DLC has been announced or listed on the store. Developer news posts from 2016–2018 were focused almost entirely on promoting the sequel, Frozen Synapse 2, rather than announcing new content for the original game. The most recent news posts referencing the original game are a minor map update (January 12, 2017) and bug fixes (May 2016). There has been no developer communication about new content for Frozen Synapse since early 2017, and no outstanding commitments or roadmaps exist. The game launched as a complete product and its post-launch content cycle concluded with the final Music Pack DLC in March 2016. Mode 7's attention clearly moved to the sequel, which released in 2018. The game is a finished, complete product.
