FURIDASHI: Drift Cyber Sport launched on November 2, 2017 and received a series of content and feature updates throughout its first year. The developer shipped 23 DLC packs — all individual premium cars plus a currency bonus pack — between launch and April 2018, all of which have been released. Major feature updates followed, including a World Championship mode and new track (April 12, 2018), full VR support (June 7, 2018), and a final physics and balance patch on June 20, 2018.
The most significant developer communication came on March 15, 2019, when the studio announced that their next project — RDS: The Official Drift Videogame — had been built on a new game engine and was available on Steam. This post effectively signals that the team moved on to a successor title. No further updates, patches, or announcements have been made for FURIDASHI since that March 2019 post, and no content has been announced or released for it since June 2018.
With all 23 DLC released, no unreleased content listed on the store, a development team that publicly pivoted to a new game, and no developer communication about FURIDASHI in over seven years (since March 15, 2019), the game is best understood as a complete, finished product. The last meaningful content update was the physics patch on June 20, 2018.
