Gamer Career Tycoon launched on March 29, 2018 and received a series of post-launch patches through October 2018, with the last recorded update being v1.33 on October 25, 2018. After that, developer communication on this game effectively ceased. The studio moved on to other projects — a new game called Dino Nest launched in April 2021, and a direct sequel to Gamer Career Tycoon called "Please Subscribe" launched on February 10, 2022. The February 2022 announcement explicitly describes Please Subscribe as the sequel, with the developer noting they used lessons learned from Gamer Career Tycoon to build it. No further content updates, patches, or announcements have been made for Gamer Career Tycoon since October 2018. The game launched as a complete product, received post-launch refinement patches in its first several months, and has had no development activity since. The studio's focus has clearly shifted to successor titles.
