Ghoul Kid launched on April 26, 2016. The only post-launch developer communication was a small patch on May 3, 2016 — "Spooky Update 1" — which added Steam Achievements, a credits page, and several gameplay tweaks in response to launch feedback. This is the last known communication from Specter Game Studios. No DLC was ever listed, no roadmap or future content was announced, no seasonal or ongoing content structure is present, and the store description contains no indication of planned additions. With a single minor post-launch patch and no further developer activity since May 3, 2016, Ghoul Kid appears to have launched as a complete, self-contained product. About this game
A mysterious old house lies at the end of the lane. No one knows when or why it was abandoned, only that it's been there since before the suburban housing development 5 years ago. Anyone unfortunate enough to cross its threshold is never seen again, leading to more than a bit of neighborhood gossip. A few brave souls begin to trickle in to uncover the mystery for themselves, oblivious of the fate that awaits them...
