Gunbrella launched on September 13, 2023 as a complete, self-contained noir-punk action-adventure game. Its two DLC items — the official soundtrack and a digital comic — both released on launch day, meaning no additional content has been added or announced since the game's release.
The developer (doinksoft) has since moved on entirely. Their two most recent posts on this game's Steam page — from March 18, 2026 and June 22, 2026 — announce and celebrate the launch of their next game, Dark Scrolls. There is no mention of any future Gunbrella content in either post. The studio is clearly focused on their new project.
The store description presents Gunbrella as a complete narrative experience with no indication of post-launch expansions, seasons, or ongoing updates. The game appears to have shipped as a finished product, and everything available for it has already been released.
