HALF DEAD 2

HALF DEAD 2 launched into Early Access on March 1, 2019 and received several feature updates throughout that period. It reached its full 1.0 release on August 2, 2019, which included a significant content drop: 18 new traps, 16 NPC types, 3 new room types, and various system improvements. After the 1.0 release, the developer's attention visibly shifted away from HALF DEAD 2. In April and August 2021, Room710Games announced and launched HALF DEAD 3 into Early Access — the successor to this game. The developer's most recent post on the HALF DEAD 2 news page (February 7, 2025) was an announcement about an entirely different game, "Shadows in Silence," with no mention of any new content for HALF DEAD 2. There are no unreleased DLC entries in the store listing, no roadmap or promise of future content for HALF DEAD 2, and no developer statement about ongoing development of this title. The studio has moved on to HALF DEAD 3 and subsequently a new IP. HALF DEAD 2 launched as a complete package and has received no post-launch content additions since its 1.0 release date.
