Evaluation

HELLMART launched on January 28, 2026, and the developer has been consistently and actively expanding it ever since. The day after launch, the studio posted a note confirming their commitment to "support and expand the project." They followed through with a steady stream of bug fixes, optimization patches, and feature updates in February and March 2026. The developer also published multiple public roadmaps (in February, March, and April 2026) detailing new mechanics and content in active development — including a store decoration system, new monster behavior, new customers, and a brand-new post-story mode. They then ran a closed playtest in May 2026 to gather feedback on the upcoming update before its release. On June 10, 2026 — just one week before today — the studio shipped its first major content update, "Extended Shift," which adds a new gameplay mode with two difficulty levels, a 10–30 hour extended progression path, a product purchasing system, shop decoration, unique visitors, and a full run-rating system. This is a substantial expansion of the game beyond what shipped at launch. The two released DLC items are a soundtrack and an artbook — digital extras that don't affect the game's content. The game itself has received all its updates for free. Given the studio's track record of consistent communication and delivery, and the fact that the major update just shipped days ago, the game is clearly in an active growth phase with the developer fully engaged.
