Hurricane entered Steam Early Access on March 6, 2017. The developer, a solo indie creator, posted three updates in the first two months after launch — a launch-day announcement, a small patch on March 17, 2017, and a more substantial update (v0.2.0.0) on May 1, 2017 adding new bosses, armor, spells, and a map. After that, all developer communication stopped entirely. There have been no posts, patches, or updates of any kind since May 1, 2017 — nearly a decade ago. The game remains flagged as Early Access on Steam with no 1.0 release, no roadmap, and no statement about the project's future. With over nine years of silence and the game still in an unfinished Early Access state, it is not possible to confirm that development is continuing.
