Evaluation
Idle Dungeons launched on June 7, 2019 as a free-to-play idle dungeon crawler. The day after launch, on June 8, 2019, the developer (a solo developer, as noted in an earlier post) acknowledged multiple game-breaking bugs and promised that the game "will be supported and fixed well into the future." They also outlined plans for procedurally generated dungeons, a clan system, and unique equippable items, and said a roadmap would be published soon.
That June 8, 2019 post is the last official communication from the developer. No roadmap was ever published, no major content updates appear to have shipped, and the store description still contains the text "Coming in a future update: Procedurally generated dungeons" — language that was never updated to reflect whether this feature was delivered or abandoned. The developer went silent immediately after the initial launch period and has not posted anything in over seven years.
The game received very poor player reception (31% positive from 238 reviews), and given the developer explicitly stated this was not their main job or source of income, it appears development stalled shortly after launch. The promised content was never delivered, and there is no indication the developer is still active on this project.

Coming in a future update: Procedurally generated dungeons, for that truly infinite amount of varied and interesting dungeons to explore!

You start off only being able to do a single amount of damage to your enemies, but over time and through the upgrading of your sword you can gain more damage per click! So long as you have your enemies blood to spend, you can always become more powerful!

Use spells in order to help you in your long quest to defeat enemies faster, and while you are offline. The higher the skill's level, the more damage it will be able to do in battle. Make sure to keep up with your spells and keep them under control! You don't want them going against you!
