INCUR Survival

INCUR Survival has been in Early Access since December 12, 2022. The game received a series of meaningful updates through its history — Patch 0.18 in March 2023, Patch 0.19 in April 2023, Patch 0.20 (adding online multiplayer) in June 2023, Patch 0.30 (a major overhaul with a new map, weather system, and dozens of new features) in May 2024, and follow-up hotfixes through June 2024. After June 2024, there was a period of silence lasting nearly two years before the developer posted again on April 2, 2026. That April 2026 post is the most important piece of information here. The solo developer was candid and transparent: the project has grown too large to manage alongside a demanding full-time job, hardware limitations prevent consistent work, and core systems were not planned well enough for easy iteration. The developer explicitly stated: "This patch does not mean regular active development is coming back" and "I can't promise major new features, large content updates, or regular development." They also acknowledged they are not quitting game development but intend to keep future projects smaller. The game remains in Early Access, has not shipped a 1.0 release, and the developer has effectively communicated that a 1.0 launch is not currently planned or achievable. While the game is still purchasable and the developer has not formally abandoned it, the path to completion is genuinely uncertain.
