Evaluation
Ironcast launched on March 26, 2015 as a complete, finished product. Following launch, the developer shipped post-launch support through a series of patches and two paid DLC packs. The 1.1 update (May 29, 2015) added new features and balance improvements, with a follow-up 1.1.1 bug fix on July 1, 2015. On November 13, 2015, the developer released two DLC content packs — The Stirling Pack and The Windsor Pack — each adding a new Ironcast and Commander. All three DLC items listed on the store (including the soundtrack, released May 1, 2015) are marked as released. No unreleased DLC exists in the store listing. The developer's last post was the November 13, 2015 announcement of those two DLC packs. There have been no further communications, roadmaps, or announcements of additional content since that date. With all announced content shipped and no subsequent developer activity pointing to anything more, the game's content was complete as of November 13, 2015.

About this game
Inspired by Victorian era science fiction writers such as H.G. Wells and Jules Verne, Ironcast is set in an exciting alternative history; a time when refined men and women in top hats and bonnets commanded gigantic walking war machines, laying waste to the enemies of the British Empire! Take control of a 7 meter tall walking vehicle called an Ironcast and face off against an invading force of enemy Ironcast in order to defend 1880's Victorian England.
Battles are fought by generating resource nodes which in turn drive the Ironcast's various weapons and systems. You must choose how to spend these nodes wisely, either offensively in order to cripple and destroy your opponents, or defensively, if they suspect a barrage of incoming weapons fire is due.
