Iso Racer launched into Early Access on May 12, 2023, and has been receiving consistent content updates since then. The developer has shipped three major updates: special passive-earning vehicles and new car types (June 4, 2023), the BUSTED police-chase game mode (October 29, 2023), and a large track pack adding 20 new tracks as part of "Racing Fest 2025" (July 28, 2025). In between, the developer delivered a complete lobby system overhaul and a new Arcade Mode (March 29, 2024) and several bug-fix patches. The store description explicitly states the developer "plans to add more types of competition in the future, beyond the standard races." The game remains in Early Access with no 1.0 or completion announcement. The most recent major update was July 28, 2025, and the gap between the second and third major updates (October 2023 to July 2025) is roughly 21 months — meaning the current silence since July 2025 (approximately 14 months as of October 2026) is approaching but not clearly beyond that window. In Iso Racer, players take control of a variety of racing cars and compete in a range of events across different tracks. The beginning of the game is simple, it looks like a typical top-down racing game, but don't let that fool you! You need to properly cut your speed before the corners in order to pass them with a perfect drift!
Car damage is only visual
Iso Racer is a racing game developed and published by Pogo Concepts. The game features top-down perspective and is heavily inspired by classic racing games, while still offering modern features such as online multiplayer.
We also care about interaction between players, which is why, among other things, we decided to have chat in the form of clouds above the vehicles, and we plan to add more types of competition in the future, beyond the standard races during the same game.
Overall, Iso Racing offers a fun and challenging racing experience that is both nostalgic and modern. Its emphasis on strategy and customization sets it apart from other arcade-style racing games, and its online multiplayer mode offers endless replayability for those looking to compete against other players around the world.
