Journey of Greed

Journey of Greed launched on October 23, 2019 and has received a steady stream of updates over the years. The developer shipped two major content updates post-launch: a new character (Taoist) on January 1, 2020, and a large 63-card content update on June 8, 2020. A new publisher (XD Network) came on board in June 2020. The most recent major content release was in April 2022, when the Ronin character DLC, Cute Skin Pack, and Animated Frame Pack all launched alongside a significant game update that introduced Seasonal Tasks, a Ladder Rank reward system, and a free Battle Pass-style weekly reward structure (NEWS-1, April 18, 2022). All five DLC items listed on the store have been released, with the last batch shipping on April 22, 2022. There have been no developer news posts, announced upcoming content, or unreleased DLC items since April 2022. The most recent DLC batch coincides with the last developer communication, and no roadmap or future content has been signaled since then. With major content releases spaced roughly 6–18 months apart historically, the silence since April 2022 — now over four years — well exceeds any reasonable expectation of continued updates. The game appears to have reached the end of its content development lifecycle as of the April 2022 update.
