Evaluation

Linea, the Game launched on January 4, 2016 as a compact, self-contained arcade game featuring four levels, online leaderboards, achievements, and trading cards. Its only DLC, Broken Chiptunes, shipped on March 28, 2016, adding four extra-hard levels. That DLC is the sole piece of additional content ever released for the game, and it has been available for over a decade. After the DLC launched, developer activity for this specific game wound down quickly. The most recent developer communications referencing Linea are from 2019–2020, and those posts were announcements about separate projects: a VR spin-off (Linea VR, released October 4, 2019) and a new free game called Questinarium (April 17, 2020). Neither post announced new content for Linea, the Game itself. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no developer roadmap, and no statements indicating further content is planned. The store description matches the original launch feature set exactly and describes a finished product. Linea, the Game was designed and delivered as a complete package. The single DLC it received has long since shipped, and the developer has moved on to other projects without signaling any intent to return to this title with new content.
