LIZARDS MUST DIE

Lizards Must Die released on September 27, 2023 and received two rounds of post-launch content: a major addon called "RUS On the MOON" on November 7, 2023, and a large multiplayer update on January 26, 2024 that added co-op for up to 5 players, a new Africa map, new enemies, and two new characters (Mstislav and Victor). The Victor character was also released as a paid DLC on the same date, and it is the only DLC listed — and it has shipped. Since January 2024, the developer's attention has clearly shifted to the sequel. Lizards Must Die 2 was officially announced on March 17, 2025, released on March 27, 2025, and then received its own free "Yashurmore" update on October 31, 2025, which concluded the sequel's Ancient Russia story arc. From February 2026 onward, the developer's news posts are entirely focused on an unrelated new project called MeowFactory. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced future content for the original Lizards Must Die, and no developer statements indicating ongoing work on this game. The developer has moved on to a sequel and then a new IP entirely. All shipped content for the original game appears to be complete as of January 26, 2024.
