Love Language Japanese launched on January 11, 2019. In the weeks following launch, the developer shipped two patches (v1.1 on January 28, 2019 and v1.2 on February 10, 2019) addressing bugs, route fixes, and quality-of-life improvements, and announced a forthcoming patch 1.3. All developer communication ceased after February 24, 2019 — the announcement of patch 1.3, which itself appears never to have shipped. There has been no news, patch, or developer statement of any kind since that date. The game launched as a complete, self-contained visual novel/language-learning experience covering a full 90-day trimester with multiple character routes. No DLC has ever been listed. The brief post-launch activity was purely maintenance-focused, and the studio went silent more than seven years ago (as of June 2026). The game is best understood as a finished product that launched complete; the early patch activity was standard post-release bug-fixing, not an ongoing content development cycle.
