Evaluation
Malus Code is a visual novel / kinetic romance adventure that launched on May 6, 2016. After launch, the developer addressed several save-file bugs and released one piece of paid DLC — an Original Soundtrack — on August 17, 2016. That OST release was the studio's last meaningful content addition, and the last developer communication of any kind came on August 19, 2016, two days later, when a minor download bug with the OST was patched. There has been no developer communication since August 2016. The game has only one DLC, which is fully released. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced future content, no roadmap, and no statements indicating ongoing development. As a kinetic novel (a linear, non-branching story format), the game was designed as a self-contained experience, and the developer's post-launch activity — limited to bug fixes and the soundtrack release — is entirely consistent with a product that shipped complete. The game's content has been final since the OST released in August 2016.
Evidence
Last developer communication: a bug fix for an OST download issue. No posts from the developer after this date.
Original Soundtrack DLC released, the only post-launch content addition for the game
