Midnight Fight Express launched on August 23, 2022 as a complete, self-contained brawler with 41 hand-crafted levels, a full skill tree, cosmetic unlocks, and a built-in challenge/leaderboard system. The only DLC ever released is the soundtrack (August 24, 2022), which is a music pack rather than game content.
Following launch, the developer shipped three feature patches in September 2022 addressing balance, new mechanics (such as countering thrown objects and petting the dog), and bug fixes. Each of those patch notes closed with the line "More balance patches and cool stuff coming soon," but no specific future content was ever announced — and no additional updates arrived after September 22, 2022.
The most recent developer communication was on March 28, 2024, announcing a limited physical release (PS4/Switch) through Limited Run Games. This is a physical merchandise/fulfillment announcement rather than new game content, and no new digital content was mentioned alongside it.
There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store, no roadmap, no season pass, and no developer statements describing plans for future game content. The store description presents the game as a complete experience with a fixed level count and a defined narrative arc.
