MIRAGE

MIRAGE is a music visualizer that launched on June 21, 2018. In the days and weeks immediately following launch, the developer was very active — shipping a rapid series of small patches addressing mouse support, translations, favorites functionality, settings menus, and responsiveness improvements. A July 20, 2018 update added a "Shuffle" visual mode, and the last recorded update on July 27, 2018 added resolution settings for desktop users. After July 27, 2018, no further developer communications or updates of any kind have been recorded. That final patch is now nearly 8 years in the past. The store description does mention that "new packs are added frequently and can be downloaded through the menu," but this language appears to be original launch copy and is not corroborated by any news posts, DLC listings, or other developer communications since 2018. There is no evidence that any such packs have been added in the years since. The game launched with no announced DLC, no season pass, no post-launch content roadmap, and no developer statements about future major content — only encouragement in the form of "look forward to future updates" in the July 20, 2018 post. That promise was fulfilled by the July 27 resolution patch, and nothing followed. The game functioned as a complete product at launch — a music visualizer — and the post-launch activity was limited to quality-of-life and compatibility improvements. The pattern is consistent with a finished product whose development concluded in July 2018.
