Evaluation
Square Enix formally announced the end of service for MOBIUS FINAL FANTASY on January 15, 2020, with the global version shutting down on June 30, 2020. The Japanese version had already ended service in December 2019 after the Warrior of Despair story concluded. The announcement confirmed that no further content would be developed — the shutdown date was a hard deadline for all gameplay activity. The game is no longer available for purchase on Steam, confirming it has been delisted. The game's story and live service content concluded as part of a planned wind-down, not an abrupt closure.
