Moonshiner Simulator entered Steam Early Access on May 20, 2026. Goosix Games has maintained a highly active update pace since launch, shipping at least six feature patches through August 24, 2026 (versions 0.6.3, 0.6.6, 0.7.1, 0.7.3, 0.8.0, and 0.8.1). These updates have steadily added new gameplay systems — new alcohol types like Gin and Absinthe, police patrol mechanics, worker improvements, new modifiers, new side quests, furniture stores, and graphical overhauls — alongside bug fixes. Every update post closes with an explicit statement that the team is continuing to work on the game. The Early Access launch post on May 21, 2026 described it as "just the beginning" with more content and fixes to come. The game is currently at version 0.8.1, signaling it is still well into its development arc toward a full 1.0 release.
