The DLC catalog shows a steady release pattern: the Royal Carriages Pack and Musical Instruments Pack at launch, the Hellenic Civilization Pack in June 2024, and the Xizhou Civilization Pack in March 2025 — all released, none pending. On February 16, 2026, the development team published a direct letter to players stating they are "preparing new content and experiences" for the coming months and that "the next chapter of Jiuzhou is waiting to be written." This is a clear developer commitment to continued content, even without naming a specific deliverable. Feature patches and maintenance updates have continued through at least July 15, 2026. Alongside the base game, the developer launched a standalone spin-off called Myth of Empires: Throne in April 2026.
