Nick Beard: The Fedora of Destiny

Nick Beard: The Fedora of Destiny launched on July 8, 2018 as a free-to-play RPG. The developer shipped a day-one patch on July 9, 2018 adding Steam achievements, followed by a small DLC called "Literally Nothing" on July 11, 2018 (released July 12 per the patch post) — a humorous cosmetic add-on that the developer explicitly described as doing nothing to enhance the game. That July 12, 2018 post was the last substantive update to the game itself. The only subsequent developer communication was a February 9, 2022 announcement about a separate game, Mega Knockdown, in which the Nick Beard character appears as a guest — this is a cross-promotion for a different title, not a signal of new content for this game. All DLC is released, no future content has been announced, and the developer has made no posts about this game since July 2018. The game launched as a complete, self-contained comedic RPG and has been finished since shortly after its release.
