Evaluation
Obscure II (Obscure: The Aftermath) is a survival horror sequel that released on Steam on March 10, 2014. The developer's entire post-launch activity consists of two posts from March 18, 2014: a stability patch (Patch 1.1) and a free bonus content drop adding the original soundtrack, exclusive artworks, and other extras. There is no DLC listed, no roadmap, no announced future content, and no developer communication of any kind after March 18, 2014. The game launched as a complete, self-contained product — a port of a previously released console title — and the post-launch activity reflects a one-time release cleanup rather than any ongoing development cycle. With over 12 years of silence since the last developer communication, this game is clearly finished.
Evidence
Free bonus content added (original soundtrack, exclusive artworks, additional extras) as a one-time gift to players. This is the last official communication from the developer.
Patch 1.1 released one week after launch to improve overall game stability.
