Oil Rush

Oil Rush launched on January 25, 2012 and received two DLC items — a Tower Defense expansion and an official soundtrack — both released on May 30, 2012. No further content has been added since then. On January 20, 2022, Unigine marked the game's 10th anniversary with a post announcing it was being made permanently free to play. The tone of that post is clearly retrospective: the studio reflects on what the game meant to them, notes they are now working on a new (unannounced) project, and frames the move to free-to-play as a final tribute. The accompanying anniversary livestream on January 25, 2022 was a celebration rather than a content announcement. All DLC has been released, the developer has made no mention of any further updates or content, and the game's store description describes a fixed set of missions and multiplayer maps with no reference to ongoing additions. Oil Rush shipped as a complete product in 2012 and remains so today.
