One Night Stand

One Night Stand launched on November 7, 2016 as a complete visual novel with 12 endings. Following launch, the developer added a series of localizations over several years: French and Brazilian Portuguese (June 21, 2018), German and Simplified Chinese (September 26, 2018), Traditional Chinese, Spanish, and Portuguese alongside console ports (October 2, 2019), and finally Japanese and Italian (March 24, 2021). That 2021 update, celebrating the game's 5th anniversary, represents the last substantive content addition to the game. Since then, the developer has issued only maintenance patches — fixing achievement bugs and updating the game engine (November 2024 and January 2025). A November 2024 update (version 2.3) refreshed the credits page and made cosmetic changes to the developer's branding, but added no new game content. On January 8, 2025, the developer published a 10-year retrospective post. In it, they describe their focus as now being on their second game VIDEOVERSE (released August 2023) and an unannounced next project — with no mention of any further content planned for One Night Stand. The store description confirms the game as a self-contained experience with a fixed set of endings and features, with no indication of expansions or additional content. No DLC is listed, no roadmap exists, and no future content has been announced for this title. The game launched as a finished product and reached its final content state with the Japanese and Italian localization update on March 24, 2021.
