Party Tycoon

Party Hard Tycoon has been in Steam Early Access since October 19, 2017. The developer, Pinokl Games (published by tinyBuild), originally estimated about three months in Early Access before a full 1.0 launch. That window passed long ago. The game did receive updates during its early period: feature patches in October 2017 and May 2018, and another update in February 2019. The February 2019 update explicitly listed upcoming work still to come, including better balance, character costs, and a "story finale" — meaning the game's own stated development goals were not yet met at that point. Since then, the developer has gone essentially silent. The last post in the news feed is from March 5, 2020, which was a sale announcement rather than a development update. There has been no patch, no roadmap, no statement about the game's future, and no 1.0 release in the more than six years since. The store page still carries the Early Access label and still references the game's development state, but no developer has spoken to what — if anything — remains in progress. With promised content (including the story conclusion) still undelivered and no developer communication since March 5, 2020, there is real uncertainty about whether development is continuing at all.
