Pixel Fodder

Pixel Fodder has been in Steam Early Access since July 20, 2015, developed by a solo developer named Sergey based in Moscow. The game received a series of updates throughout 2015, 2016, and into early 2017, with the developer regularly communicating progress — including a November 2016 post detailing a major engine rewrite with several planned features still in progress, and a February 2017 post confirming continued engine development. The final update on April 23, 2017 introduced the first full campaign season and a new weapon. Since that date, there have been no further posts, patches, or communications of any kind from the developer. The game has never reached a 1.0 release, and none of the features planned in the November 2016 roadmap (new physics, character system overhaul, mob/transport redesign, additional weapons) were ever confirmed as shipped. The developer has been completely silent since April 23, 2017 — nearly a decade — with no explanation provided. The game remains purchasable on Steam in its Early Access state.
