Pluviophile

Pluviophile is a self-contained, intentionally short walking simulator that launched on June 11, 2020 as a complete experience. The developer, Tonguç Bodur, has never announced any additional content for the game itself — post-launch communications have focused on separate new games in the same stylistic vein (Chionophile, Loverowind, Bottle, and the upcoming Run Tekila Run) rather than expansions or updates to Pluviophile. The only post-launch updates to Pluviophile were minor: a texture optimization hotfix in June 2020, a quality-of-life control improvement in February 2021, and an engine upgrade with DLSS support in March 2022. The most recent direct update to the game was on March 28, 2022. A January 2024 post mentioned that Pluviophile works well with a community VR mod, but this was informational rather than a content release. The sole DLC — the game's soundtrack — released on launch day. No future content has been announced or implied for Pluviophile, and the developer's pattern is clearly one of releasing new standalone titles rather than expanding existing ones.
