Evaluation
Project Mercury launched on September 19, 2017 as a self-contained action game with eight stages, nine boss battles, and a fixed set of features. The store description describes a complete, finite game with no mention of additional content, DLC, seasons, or expansions. There are no DLC listings of any kind.
Following launch, Raxasoft Games issued a handful of patches through April 9, 2020 — primarily quality-of-life and bug fix updates (adjusting jump mechanics, removing/re-adding a strobe death effect, tweaking visual settings). None of these patches introduced new stages, modes, or content beyond what shipped at launch. The developer has made no announcements about future content at any point, and there has been no developer communication of any kind since April 9, 2020.
This game launched as a finished product and has been maintained with minor polish patches. It is complete.
