Puzzle Pirates: Dark Seas

Puzzle Pirates: Dark Seas is a free-to-play massively multiplayer game built around an ongoing live service model — rotating mystery boxes, limited-edition cosmetic ships, doubloon microtransactions, seasonal events, and a player-driven economy. By design, this type of game is never "done"; it is intended to run as a living world indefinitely. The game launched into Early Access on September 14, 2017, and officially released (left Early Access) on July 6, 2018, accompanied by a new DLC pack (the Shadow Raider Pack) and the opening of the first large island for blockade competition. At launch, the developer stated: "This doesn't mean we're done developing the game or making improvements, far from it." However, the July 6, 2018 full launch post is also the last official Steam communication from Grey Havens.
