Revenge of the Savage Planet launched on May 8, 2025 and has been actively supported ever since. Within the first seven months of release, the developer shipped three major free content updates: a Photo Mode / Performance Mode update on August 18, 2025; Remix Mode (Sandbox, Immersive, and customization options) on September 29, 2025; and Bingo Brawl (a new competitive 1v1 mode with a Yooka-Laylee crossover outfit) on November 19, 2025. All three of these are now available as released DLC entries on the store. On December 10, 2025, the developer announced a two-part update arriving that month with in-game filters and bug fixes, and explicitly stated that "more details about future updates" would be shared soon. This is the most recent developer communication and makes clear that additional content beyond what has shipped is still being planned and worked on. A December 12, 2025 patch also added Steam-only multiplayer support, showing the team remains active. The developer has maintained a very consistent pace of major updates since launch — roughly every 2–3 months — and has not indicated that this cadence is coming to an end. Someone waiting for all content should hold off: more is confirmed to be on the way.

In a future knocked off its axis by corporate greed and stupidity, you have been made redundant and abandoned on the far edge of space with little gear and no safety net.
