Rise of Eros is a free-to-play massively multiplayer RPG that has been operating continuously since its July 2023 launch. The game is built around a live service structure: it runs numbered competitive seasons (the Divine Power Deathmatch reached Season 71 by August 2026, and the Skybreak Realm reached Season 28), ships new limited-time story events and playable characters on a roughly monthly cycle, and offers recurring seasonal battle passes with paid tiers. New "Persona" characters are introduced with each event cycle, accompanied by limited-time summon pools, bundles, and login rewards.
The developer has maintained a consistent and unbroken update cadence throughout the game's life. The most recent major content post (August 21, 2026) launched the "Absurd Dream Nocturne" event with two new limited SSR Personas, new summon pools, and an active competitive season — all currently ongoing as of today's date. Prior major content posts appeared in February 2026, March 2026, April 2026, May 2026, and July 2026. Milestone celebrations — a 2.5th Anniversary in March 2025, a 3rd Anniversary in September 2025, and a 3.5th Anniversary in March 2026 — confirm the developer has been actively operating this game for over three years and treats it as a long-running ongoing service.

About this game
At the dawn of the world, two originary deities were created from humanity's most primal desires: the god Eros and the goddess Aphrodite. With the development of civilization, the flourishing of different desires and drives led to the birth of more and more deities, and eventually erupted in a Great War of the Gods. Eros emerged victorious, yet his betrayal at the hands of Aphrodite left him sealed away inside an ancient Relic, and the world abandoned to an age of godlessness.
Several millennia later, various civilizations have flowered on the continent of Dienne, tenaciously clinging on in the absence of protection by the deities. While searching for a way to bring her boyfriend back to life, Inase, a scholar of ancient societies, accidentally breaks the seal and awakens Eros.
