Rise of Liberty

Rise of Liberty launched out of Early Access on May 30, 2019, with the developer explicitly stating the game had "reached the point where it can leave early access" and promising to keep updating it frequently. True to that word, the developer — a solo indie dev named Jack — shipped several post-launch content updates: a new Siege Map in February 2020, a new Siege mode deployable in August 2020, and a new desert map in May 2021. However, the May 10, 2021 desert map update is the last developer communication on record, and no updates of any kind have been posted since. That silence now spans over five years (through June 2026), far beyond the roughly 6-month cadence the developer maintained between major content drops. There is no announced future content, no unreleased DLC, and no roadmap outstanding. The January 2019 roadmap was written during Early Access and its goals were effectively fulfilled by the 1.0 launch update. The developer's own FAQ stated they would continue updating "for as long as people are there to play" — but the extended absence of any communication suggests active development has concluded. The game appears to have reached its final state with the May 2021 desert map update.
