Ship Simulator: Maritime Search and Rescue launched on July 1, 2014 as a complete, self-contained simulation game with 20 missions across two scenarios. The developer released a single post-launch patch (version 1.03.00) on August 8, 2014 that added minor quality-of-life features and fixed bugs. That patch represents the last official communication from the developer, and no further updates, DLC, expansions, or content announcements have been made since then — a period spanning over a decade to the present date of June 28, 2026.
