SoulWorker's servers were permanently shut down on April 30, 2021. The publisher, Gameforge, announced the closure on February 15, 2021, citing the end of operations for the game's European/international version. A follow-up post on April 28, 2021 confirmed the final server shutdown maintenance. The game is no longer operational and is no longer available for purchase on Steam — there are no active purchase options on the store page. The developer acknowledged at the time of the shutdown announcement that Lion Games had plans for an international server, but no such service has materialized on this Steam listing, and no further developer communications have appeared since the shutdown.
