Spaceball

Spaceball launched into Early Access on August 20, 2018 as a multiplayer low-gravity sports game. The developer — Intergalactic Education LLC — shipped updates fairly regularly through 2021, including two notable content additions (astronaut fans added to arena bubbles in April 2021) and several feature patches adding systems like matchmaking, an end-of-match scoreboard, and visual improvements. The last post of any kind from the developer was a feature patch on October 29, 2021, which opened the arena roof to show the Earth and stars. Since that date — now more than four and a half years ago — there have been no patch notes, announcements, or any other communication from the developer. The game remains in Early Access, meaning the developer has never declared it finished or released a 1.0 version. The store description still references limited content (one arena, two playable characters), consistent with an unfinished product. With no developer communication since October 29, 2021 and no roadmap or stated plans for completing the game, it is unclear whether development is continuing or has been quietly abandoned.
