SpellForce 2: Faith in Destiny launched on June 19, 2012 as a stand-alone expansion in the SpellForce 2 series. All four DLC items listed on its store page — three scenario packs and a Digital Extras pack — have been released. The most recent developer activity directly relevant to this game's content line was the release of SpellForce 2: Demons of the Past on January 16, 2014, a separate stand-alone SpellForce 2 add-on that effectively concluded the SpellForce 2 content era. Subsequent publisher news posts from 2017 and 2020 announced SpellForce 3 and its expansions, representing an entirely new installment in the franchise rather than any continuation of Faith in Destiny's content. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no roadmap or announced future content for this title, and no developer statements suggesting further updates are planned. The game shipped as a finished product and all associated DLC content has been delivered.
