Evaluation
Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance is a classic LucasArts space combat game originally released in 1999, made available on Steam on April 28, 2015. The game shipped as a complete, self-contained single-player and multiplayer experience with 50 story-driven missions. There is no post-launch content cycle, no DLC, and no roadmap for future content. The only developer activity on Steam since its digital re-release was a Windows 10 compatibility patch on June 30, 2017 — routine maintenance to keep the game running on modern hardware. No further content or updates have been announced, and the store description describes a fully-formed, finished product with no suggestion of ongoing development. This is a complete game.
