STAR WARS™ X-Wing vs TIE Fighter - Balance of Power Campaigns™ is a re-release of a classic 1997 LucasArts space combat simulator, made available on Steam on April 28, 2015. The game shipped as a complete, finished product — it is a preservation/re-release of a title originally developed in the late 1990s, not an ongoing live game.
The only developer activity since the Steam launch has been two bug-fix patches: one in May 2015 addressing an antivirus false positive issue, and one in June 2017 resolving Windows 10 compatibility problems. Neither patch introduced new content, and no major content updates, DLC, expansions, or announcements of future content have ever been made. There are no unreleased DLC listings on the store.
The last developer communication of any kind was on June 30, 2017. The store description makes no mention of planned updates, additional content, or ongoing development. This is a classic game re-release that was brought to Steam as a finished package; all content it will ever have was present at launch.
