Stock Car Extreme

Reiza Studios explicitly announced the conclusion of Stock Car Extreme's development on January 6, 2016. In that post, the developer stated: "While its development is now wrapped, Stock Car Extreme still warrants one of the most complete and realistic racing simulation experiences you will find in the PC." This is a clear, unambiguous statement that active development had ended. The context for this announcement was the studio shifting focus to their next title, Automobilista, which was offered as a free upgrade to existing SCE owners. Prior to this closure, the game had received a solid run of post-launch content: major updates in March, May, June, and August 2015 brought new car series (Marcas, Superkarts, Opala Stock Cars, Super V8) and new tracks, funded in part through a successful crowdfunding campaign. The last bug fix patch (v1.52) arrived on December 19, 2015, just weeks before the development wrap announcement. No content has been announced or released since January 2016, consistent with the studio's stated conclusion of development. The game remains purchasable as a complete, finished product.
