Summonsters launched on February 29, 2024 as a complete roguelike auto-battler. In the months following launch, SFCO Games was actively patching the game, shipping multiple feature updates throughout March and April 2024 — these included balance overhauls, a new meta-progression system with Diamonds, an Endless Mode, and the addition of Challenge 8 (April 28, 2024). A March 7, 2024 post mentioned plans to eventually add Challenge 9 for skilled players, but the April 28, 2024 update added Challenge 8 with no subsequent announcement of Challenge 9, suggesting that promise may have been aspirational or quietly set aside.
After April 2024, the developer's update cadence dropped sharply. The only post from 2025 is a Unity security patch on October 8, 2025 — a maintenance-only fix with no new content or forward-looking statements. No roadmap, announced DLC, or upcoming content of any kind is listed. The store description presents the game as a complete package, describing specific counts of content (21 summon types, 107 artifacts, 8 bosses, etc.) without referencing future additions.
