Take Me To The Dungeon!! launched on June 28, 2023, and was developed by a small team at Hanabi Fuusen. In December 2023, the developer announced that an epilogue update was in the works, targeting the following summer. That epilogue arrived on December 19, 2024 as a free update, bringing new adventures, characters, cards, systems, dungeons, and CGs. The post accompanying the release reflected on the journey and credited player support for making it possible — signaling the conclusion of the planned content arc. Since the epilogue launched, the developer has continued issuing maintenance patches to fix bugs and polish the game. On July 18, 2026, the developer posted a celebration announcement noting that the game has surpassed 400,000 copies sold on Steam and that a console version launched that same day. While this confirms the developer remains engaged with the game's distribution, the post contains no announcements of new story content, expansions, or DLC — it focuses entirely on the sales milestone and the console port. Subsequent bug-fix patches (June 29, 2026 and July 27, 2026) address minor issues in the existing content. Both DLC items — a soundtrack and an art book, both released June 29, 2023 — are shipped.
