Terraformers

Terraformers launched into Early Access and officially released version 1.0 on March 9, 2023. Since then, the developer (Asteroid Lab) released three paid DLC expansions: New Frontiers (January 25, 2024), Megastructures (October 23, 2024), and Independence (April 16, 2026). On April 16, 2026 — the same day the Independence DLC launched — the developer published a post explicitly calling it "the final Terraformers DLC." On March 9, 2026, when announcing the Independence DLC, they also referred to it as "the final Terraformers DLC." Following the Independence release, the developer has continued issuing bug fix and balance patches (most recently on May 5, 2026), but no new content has been announced or hinted at. A May 5, 2026 patch (1.7.82) even included the note "Removed the 'more content to come' at the end of the game," which reinforces the developer's intent that content development is now complete. A Terraformers Collection bundle was also launched alongside the final DLC, packaging the base game, all three DLCs, and the Supporter Pack together. With the developer explicitly stating this was the final DLC, all announced content now shipped, and post-launch patches focused purely on bug fixes and balance, the game's content is complete as of April 16, 2026.
