The American Dream launched on March 14, 2018 as a complete, narrative-driven VR experience with a fully-voiced single-player campaign across 20+ levels. Following launch, Samurai Punk issued a series of bug fix hotfixes in March and April 2018, followed by polish patches in April and May 2018. The final update was Patch 1.0.3 on July 3, 2018, which added a small "American mode" feature as a 4th of July celebration alongside some fixes. There have been no developer communications of any kind since July 3, 2018. The only DLC is the game's soundtrack, which was released on launch day. No future content was ever announced, no roadmap was published, and the game's store description describes it as a finished, self-contained product. The game launched as a complete package, received post-launch polish and minor additions, and has since been fully wrapped up with no outstanding commitments.
