The Beggar's Ride launched on May 5, 2016 as a complete story-driven puzzle-platformer. Following launch, the developer (Bad Seed) shipped two post-release updates: a Chinese localization patch on September 1, 2016, and a Russian localization patch on November 10, 2016, each accompanied by minor bug fixes. A hotfix was also released on September 9, 2016. These updates were polish and localization work rather than new content expansions. The last developer communication on record was the Russian localization update on November 10, 2016. No DLC, expansions, roadmaps, or future content announcements have ever been made. There is no indication from the developer of any planned additional content, and the store description describes the game as a self-contained experience.
