Evaluation

The Bus launched on March 26, 2026 and has been receiving consistent post-launch support. Two major DLCs have shipped: Hamburg City (July 31, 2025) and Ebus 2.2 (August 26, 2026). The core game received Update 1.2 on August 26, 2026, adding AI trams, custom operating plans for Economy Mode, and improved wheel physics, followed by a hotfix on August 28, 2026. The developer has a clear and growing pipeline of announced content. Two DLCs are currently listed on the store as unreleased: London South (no release date, planned for 2027) and New York City (announced September 30, 2026, no release date). The London South DLC was formally announced on August 6, 2026, with the developer confirming a 2027 PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S release and stating that it will continue to receive free updates after launch. The New York City announcement on September 30, 2026 describes two drivable bus lines and introduces a separately sold US LFS Bus DLC developed by Rivet Games. Beyond London and New York, the developer is actively working on a Lübeck DLC — confirmed via a May 15, 2026 announcement and a detailed September 18, 2026 FAQ — with no specific release date but confirmed to be in active development. A Berlin-Charlottenburg DLC covering Lines 109 and 309 is also in active development, as shown by a DevLog published September 21, 2026 detailing road network construction. A separate vehicle DLC for Lübeck-appropriate buses has also been confirmed as planned. The Hamburg City DLC continues to be developed, having received a major May update (May 21, 2026) adding new route sections, a new depot, and extended bus lines. The developer has confirmed line 17 will eventually be extended further and that Hamburg will continue to receive updates. The developer has been communicating actively and frequently, with the most recent posts on September 30, 2026. There is no ambiguity about the direction of development — multiple named, unshipped content items are confirmed across the store listing and official announcements.
