The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos launched on September 17, 2020 and received a season pass and multiple DLC expansions over its post-launch life, including Ruins of Limis (May 25, 2021), Splat Jaypak's Arenas (December 3, 2021), and Back to the Futon (October 3, 2022). All DLC items listed on the store have been released.
On June 28, 2023, the developer published a post explicitly titled "Last Orders Patch," stating: "This will be the last update planned for the game!" They directed their efforts toward a new title in the same universe, Naheulbeuk's Dungeon Master. This is a clear and direct statement from the developer that content development for The Amulet of Chaos is complete.
The only subsequent update was a security patch on October 10, 2025, which addressed a Unity engine vulnerability — a maintenance-only fix that does not represent new content or a change in the game's development status. This is consistent with a completed game receiving occasional technical upkeep.
All DLC has been released, the season pass content has fully shipped, and the developer has explicitly closed the book on new content. The game is complete as of June 28, 2023.

The Naheulbeuk universe is an original creation by French author John Lang. It started as a very popular audio comedy series parodying role-playing games and heroic fantasy tropes. Now the story is available in English and as a video game for the first time!

- Play with seven classic role-playing game characters complementing each other’s skills as you level them up: the Ranger, the Elf, the Dwarf, the Barbarian, the Magician, the Ogre and the Thief!
