The Herbalist

The Herbalist launched on November 15, 2016 as a complete puzzle game. Following launch, the developer shipped two feature patches: a MacOS/Linux build on December 25, 2016, and a localization update adding Chinese, Japanese, and Spanish on May 23, 2017. The only DLC — the Original Soundtrack — released alongside the game on launch day. No further game content has been released or announced since May 23, 2017. The developer's news posts after that point are entirely focused on other projects (EON2032, CEIBA, Little Green Girl, and EON), not on The Herbalist itself. Notably, the June 2021 EON2032 announcement explicitly stated that all income from The Herbalist was being funneled into EON development — treating The Herbalist as a finished, revenue-generating product rather than one receiving ongoing work. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced future content for this game, and no sustained post-launch content cadence. The game shipped as a complete product and received minor post-launch polish before the developer moved on to new projects.
