The Planet Crafter: Prologue

This is the free prologue/demo for the full game "The Planet Crafter" (Steam App ID 1284190). It was released on December 19, 2021 as a standalone taster offering the first few hours of the terraforming experience. The prologue itself is a fixed, self-contained product — its purpose is to give players a sample of the full game, not to receive its own ongoing content cycle. All developer news posts shown are about the full game's Early Access updates and its 1.0 launch on April 10, 2024, not about the prologue receiving new content. The full game reached 1.0 on April 10, 2024, at which point the developer stated they would continue improving the game and had ideas for new content — but again, those communications pertain to the full "Planet Crafter" product, not this prologue. The prologue has no DLC, no announced future updates of its own, and no post-launch content cycle. It launched as a finished, standalone demo and remains exactly that.
